My room now is soundless. Till yesterday, ever time I came and said her name out loud a friendly "squeak squeak!" reached my ears. Now, my heart is riping itself apart. For this friendly sound I don't hear anymore, and I'll never hear it again. Mina has reached the guinea pig rainbow yesterday at 21:20 on my lap. I saw her lying painfully and making sounds I never heared before: restrained and silent, as if she was talking to someone else I didn't saw in my room. The parrot Argonas just watched silently as I reached my hands and took away from the cage his dieing neighbor. Then I asked her, wanting to not know the truth : "Mina, whats wrong?". She didn't respond, she didn't looked at me, she just strugelled there to breathe. And then the painful truth hit me like a large stone - this is it, our last meeting. My tears just weted her fur, her beautiful colourful fur. And I sat down on my green sofa, where we used to read together. I peted her on the wet,twitchy, yet, still warm body and started talking to her. I reminded her our best adventures, how I bought her, how I cured her skin disease... And then I started talking about the life she soon will enjoy:guinea pig heaven. I told her all the adventages up there, I told her about how she will meet the other pigs she didn't knew: Morta, Marta, Myrta, Metas, Matas, Motas and Mona. Mina gave me her last squeak : painful, hard and quiet. She breathed in and out a couple of times and left me alone forever. As I put her cold little lifless body back in her cage I thanked her for being a great friend to me, and I promised that after I die we will meet again.
As I'm writing this the pain still grips my heart and I can barely see the computer keys due to my tears. I just want to tell the whole world that my best and only friend died, died in my hands...
